Albion Resolutions is a partnership business which is dedicated to providing high quality mediation services which represent value for money. In addition to the two partners we also have a team of associates who come from a variety of backgrounds bringing expertise from the legal world including international disputes, from business, children's services and education. We are all fully accredited experienced mediators who share the values of delivering a responsive service which is matched to each client's needs. We all work as Mediators now as we have seen how effective it can be, and how preferable it is to getting locked into formal and legal procedures.
Jane has worked as a mediator since 2006 and is passionate about the positive change that mediation can deliver. Fully accredited across civil, workplace and family mediation, she is able to call upon a variety of mediation styles and practices to suit each mediation case."I love mediating. It’s not easy working with people who are in conflict but it’s really fulfilling to see how a managed mediation can help people refocus on the situation and resolve things themselves. Having completed hundreds of cases over the last decade, I know that each case is different but by drawing out these unique factors and understanding people’s motivations, mediation is a highly effective means of reaching a satisfactory outcome for all parties."
Jane is a very experienced mediator and was a Director at a large South West based mediation practice before setting up Albion Resolutions. Before this she worked as a lecturer and manager in further education and special education.

Testimonial"Jane and Albion delivered a fast and efficient service for us when we really needed it. She was able to talk to our employees who were not speaking to each other and get them to eventually come to a joint meeting. We don’t know how she managed it- it’s all confidential! - but we now have an effective team working again."

Emma is a full time mediator with a strong background in Education and in commercial enterprise. She founded her own Disability Assessment business, Contact Associates, which she sold to Capita in 2012. She has also taught in an Independent school and set up and run services in the University and the FE Sectors. Emma has taken what she has learned from both the public and private sectors, and now works to help organisations resolve difficult situations. Fully conversant with corporate responsibility and the perspective of the employer, she is also very empathetic and knows how important it is to understand the perspective of each participant. Emma is registered with The Civil Mediation Council, is an OCN recognised Community Mediator and is a competent BSL signer."Having seen first-hand the disruption that conflict can bring to any organisation, I know that successful mediation delivers so much more than the resolution of the case itself. For both workplace mediations, and complaints disputes in the education sector - brand and reputation, cost, stress and lost work hours have a huge detrimental effect. But done properly and over the course of just a few days, mediation can make a measurable difference to any organisation."
Emma has direct experience of the sometimes-challenging decisions that can lead to conflict and disputes within the workplace. Through a blended mediation approach, she achieves the perfect balance of pragmatism and empathy to keep even the most challenging of cases on track.
